Kaupthing Edge to ING direct rates?

About three weeks ago I decided to do something with my savings and read that Kaupthing Edge were the best place to put my money... so I moved about £7000 into the bank and then about 2 days after the transfer is complete the whole Icelandic bank fiasco happens.
First of all am I right in saying my money is safe?
More importantly, are the rates still good now the money is with ING and how do I get access to it? (Through Kaupthing Edge's website or through ING's)
... I pick the time to move my money don't I?!

Your money is covered by the Dutch equivalent of the FSCS, up to €100,000.
Rates - there has been no official statement yet but there are unconfirmed reports that rates will be honoured.0
