Have I been taxed twice

Hi all
Hope someone can confirm my suspicions.
In May 2006 my company overpaid me by £1880 (this was gross so I was taxed on it at the time), at the time I had just been married and was on my honeymoon so there was a lot of money coming and going so I didn't notice the error until I was home and the money was eaten into.
I approached my payroll dept and agreed a £100 deduction from my wage until the £1880 was paid back.
I've recently had some unpaid time off from work so I was trying to calculate how much I would earn next month based on what I have earned in the past. It was then that I felt my employer had been removing the £100 after tax and NI was taken from my gross wage (meaning I had paid tax on the money twice)
My gross monthly wage is £2015.85 my tax code is 527L, what should my net wage be if the £100 was being removed correctly?
Thanks in advance
