Our mortgage offer is now through, some 3 weeks into the 10-12weeks timescale originally quoted. Hopefully they are quoting worst case timescales rather than typical ones.

Just thought I'd post as our experience of applying is a little different to the posters above. Having read these boards, I expected to have to book a callback in order to apply for our remortgage with FD. However I was put straight through to an advisor (I called around 6.30pm), who did the application on the phone there and then, and confirmed our application was successful.
Thought I should post so that hopefully others may not be put off by the long wait times to do the initial application, as it looks as though that isn't always the case.0
