I just got one of these today from Play it has no cap

Looks pretty straight forward to use in swivel off centre to get to usb end. Unfortunately despite that mine wont undue. I dont want to force it although I have put more pressure on the end to open. Has anyone else had any issues with this, as I think mine must be faulty
