When I was on my first teaching practice I once tried to stay after school to do planning on the computer (mine was broken). At four o'clock the care taker came round and asked me to switch off the lights when I left. She said I was the only person left. At half past four she came round and asked how long I was expecting to be. She was obviously waiting for me to go and when I left ten minutes later, she was so quick that her car was out of the car park before mine!phill79 wrote:Just think of the poor IT tech who works there having to do that. Poor guy. I bet he is there until the caretaker throws him out.0 -
I use this a lot. Im in secondary and use parts of this with Y7-9. Also good for kids with SEN.

I don't know why this thread has been moved to 'gone, but not forgotten'! Anyway, the TES website has a great forum and resources section:
Primary forum: http://www.tes.co.uk/section/staffroom/list_threads.aspx?path=/primary/
You can access lots of different specific forums down the left hand side too. It is great for ideas, advice and support.
Resources section: http://www.tes.co.uk/Reviews_and_Resources/
Most of these are good quality resources that the forum community has uploaded. Lots of similar things are being sold on ebay, but here they are free!
It really is an excellent site and I can't praise it enough.0 -
Can second the TES website as a great resource for primary and secondary - especially useful for hard-to-find primary MFL resources. Remember though that it is open to contributions as well. If you are a teacher and have created a fab resource, why not share it with your fellow professionals?
I admit I have downloaded a good deal more than I have uploaded to the TES site, but feel that we should all try to give something back if we can. We will all benefit that way.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread so far. Some great sites here! Will collate my favourite MFL sites and add them soon..·:*¨:starmod: ¨*:·. Rubiales.·:*¨ :starmod: ¨*:·.
