I got this one too! :j What a fab prize! I don't want to open it because it looks so nice. I picked it up today - I thought they might have run out by now but they obviously hadn't. I'd encourage people to keep on trying. :)

well where do you think they are getting the answers from?

Surely it is not cheating if you are working the answers out?

    Cheat Definition
    noun
    1. the act of deceiving or swindling; deception; fraud
    2. a person who defrauds, deceives, or tricks others; swindler
Now if the answers were coming from an inside source then that is different, but working the answers out with a friend doesn't constitute cheating.

    ps - I have not pm'd anyone - I don't know the answers! lol
    :D

They recognize the references due to being actual lush fans and not just someone who wants a freebie whatever it is, and people on here aren't working it out they are just pm-ing whole lists to each other. I think MSE is great but this isn't on!

I sat last night for 4 hours typing out EVERY product on the Lush web pages both from the UK and from the Us ( I have no soundcard that works!)into word and I then spent another hour copying and pasting them individually into the text box to see what worked and what didnt. This gave me a grand total of 66 points! After all of that my nearest store is 30 miles away but luckily enough my son is at University close to there so I phoned him at 7.00 am this morning to go and say the phrase for me. He did and I got my Lush box :D Only problem is its at Uni with him and he won't be coming home until tomorrow night ! With a little ( or a lot of) effort you can work it out on your own... and not that I object to getting any answers from anyone, I feel really chuffed at doing this one on my own.

Whoopee - and there was me being all 'bah, I can't get to the shop and it'll be too late'. Well guess what - my boyfriend just went into the Piccadilly branch and... we won a box! Can't wait for him to get home now and see what's inside our one. Phewee - all that brain-ache was worth it after all. Anyhow, since we managed to still get one tonight, and in central London to boot, I just wanted to encourage anyone still trying to keep at it!

PS - There was an amusing scene in the shop, apparently:
Boyfriend: Er.. are you doing the Lush Town competition still?
Assistant: Might be..why? Do you have something to say to me?
Boyfriend: Gulp...er...*the secret and hilarious phrase*
Assistant (and boyfriend) fall about in absolute stitches!

    Well Done!!

I wonder what it is with the "might be...why?" cause when I went in, the assistant was also vague about whether they had prizes still, are they teasing us?

    :p

I reckon they're just getting as much mileage as possible out of customers having to say silly and embarrassing things to them! :rotfl:

By the way, I used a mixture of product knowledge (been a Lush fan for years but hadn't bought anything for about a year due to skintness!) and trial and error - typing in phases I heard that I thought sounded like a product/checked on the website. It took a long, long time, but was worth it - I can feel all clever and smug now! ;)

This time and last time I phoned them first to check there were still prizes :p

Saves me a bus trip for no reason ;)
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.
  • HONEY WAFFLE DID IT WITH AN ULTRA LIGHT FLYING BOX.

Thats the phrase good luck, Hope that really gives the moaners something to moan about, Im sure there are many boxes still available, be clever go in yourself then get your Mrs to go in a few minutes after.
