Ok I mentioned I'd e-mailed Zing via the link I received in my e-mail when I subscribed. I hadn't heard anything so went back and sent another e-mail to the same address, which is:
info@zingmag.com
However, on sending it this e-mail got returned to me. Infact two times I tried to send it. This is the message I received:This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients failed.
So now I went to their website http://www.zingmag.com/contact.aspx
and the e-mail addy is different. I've sent it now to:
info@zingmag.co.uk
Their phone number is on that page:

Address:

did anyone get a copy in November?0
-
hi no not in november plus I had their mailshot this morning about the subscription!!!!0

I got this card through the post today and its quite clear they are offering you free sunglasses for signing up family and friends, its not for you to renew your subscription.
It even says there are no limits to the number you sign up and to copy the card.
Bit strange though there is no place to record your name so they know who to send the sunglasses to???.0 -

Issue number 5 I have only ever had 2 issues since July, should I have had more?0 -
don't think so... I've only received two copies so far....
Don't blame them for trying to get new customers, but shouldn't they be looking after their current ones? There is no need to run outside

I subscribed at the end of june, I got issue 3 in early Sept, and issue 4 on 28th Oct. If Issue 5 comes on 16th Dec, that is 7 weeks after issue 4, not 6 as it says in Happyshopper3's email, or monthly like I was told when I subscribed.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0

Maybe the postal promotion is different to the online one Tony. Sometimes companies do that to test the waters. I know I got my sunglasses because I actually subscribed myself.CMorgan wrote:Issue number 5 I have only ever had 2 issues since July, should I have had more?
From the e-mail Zing sent me it appears so. As yet I haven't even had one issue sent yet. You would have thought they'd have sent me November's issue if its 6 weeks or longer before the next issue!
Incidentally, Suewre I thought that Zing was a monthly subscription too. I hope I'm not waiting longer than the 6 weeks to get my copy.0 -
This was the reply I got when I queried my subscription:
Hi ,
The form wasn’t for you to renew your subscription, but an opportunity for family and friends to subscribe in time to receive the Christmas issue. We have had many subscribers taking out more than one subscription so wanted to offer all subscribers the opportunity to take out another subscription with an additional reward if you wanted to!
All subscriptions are valid for 12 issues. We are endeavouring to get the magazine out monthly but as we are a new publication, we invariably have teething problems beyond our control. Rest assured though that your subscription will not be terminated until you have received 12 issues through your letter box!
Best wishes,
LeandreThere will always be:
