Afternoon guys, hope everyone is having a good day. I have been at a course all day, it was good and bad, was very glad to get home so that my brain was no longer frazzled!!

    Today's things:
-Bought cheap sandwich for lunch and resisted the nicer more expensive ones
-Took some food with me to college so that i didn't have to buy as much pack lunch food, would have made it myself but have hardly out in the house!
-The heating has been off all day, so saving money there
-Have put money in payment a day challenge pig
    -Have sorted through emails
-Have listed website on a few more directories
-Have been on other forum for business advice
-Have been doing some bits and pieces for my business and trying to promote it
-Will place another matched bet in a minute

-Partner is cooking tonight and he bought the food, so technically its a free meal!!
-Will sort out mystery shops for tomorrow
    -Have looked for mystery shops
    -Have received another gift voucher

-Will list gift vouchers on ebay, got £40 worth to sell
-Got a cheque from a mystery shopping company today
-I'll try and do some nvq homework

    -I'll start writing counselling assignment
    -I'll do some surveys

Thinks thats it for me today, am feeling rather tired after the training course today

    Hi All,

Sorry I've not been posting much - been really tired and falling asleep as soon as I get home. But in the past week I have
    • eaten breakfast on the way to work
    • worked an hour's overtime Monday - Friday (earning £14 per hour!!!) - However, have started a morning ritual of latte @ 10:30 and buying lunch at work (must get motivated to do extra dinner and take that in)
    • tried to have LSD's at least 2 days this week
    • printed off all my payslips and noticed that I have been getting my overtime rate for some of the time and standard rate for the rest of the time . Called the agency to check, and they are going to correct for Friday's pay :T.
    • While I was on the phone to the agency they said that I had won a competition that they were running. Basically, it was who could get the most points in a certain amount of time. You were given 1 point for each hour you worked (for me it was 41 - 44 points per week) and 1 point if you answered each of the 3 weekly questions right. I thought that I had not won the comp as they had not called/emailed. So, I was really happy when they asked me where I would like the voucher for. £25 Next voucher winging its way to me!
So, today I had planned a DVD day, but instead, I popped into town and changed up my 50p and under jar. It was actually a LS shopping trip. I managed this by....
    • had breakfast before I left home
    • parking in a council carpark paying £1 for 2 hours rather than paying £1.30 per hour for the shopping centre carpark - mum paid
    • using the coinstar machine in Sainsburys to count up my change (I know they charge a fortune, but I did not have full bags of change) £34.33 £4 to my Sealed Pot, £30 to spend on clothes/debts and 33p to go in my change jar
    • mum treated me to a coffee
    • I needed to get petrol, so I called up the local supermarkets and asked them the prices. Mr T was cheapest £1.05.9 so I went there (it is also closest to my home)
    • bought cheap mince, and I will shortly be making burgers and home made chips
    • bought jacket potatoes for lunch at home rather than buying lunch out
Think that is about it - hope everyone is ok, and I WILL post everyday and generally be a bit more committed to MS!

    Take care

Glad everyone has had a good day. Went for lunch with my friend - her treat - then had a wander round the shops and market. Didn't buy much at all, spent £2.75 on fruit and veg and £6.99 on huge box of Thorntons continental chocs for my dad, still a bargain though as they are his favourites and are usually £13.99 a box:p. Total spent in town £9.74 -not bad:confused: .
Just come back from having swim and jacuzzi at the gym and ready to snuggle down for the night with a dvd. DD is out and OH off to work any minute so will have a quiet night:D :D

    Evening all,

    My dfw things for today;
    • Filled up a small bottle with water so if we were thirsty we would have something rather than do an emergency buy a bottle of expensive juice/water
    • Heating has been off all day
    • Didn’t wash my hair today only because I was rushed for time after staying up late doing brain training on DSs Nintendo DS Lite – guess it saved shampoo
    • Reorganised a couple of storage boxes in en-suite and found some change I had thrown in about 1 month ag I had forgotten about
    • Greggs – got DS a bridie used 50p luncheon voucher paid 22p cash
    • Boots – got DS a choc bar reduced to 15p but was charged 10p at the till also got a free ltd edition NO17 Lip pallet (I think it was because they are officially opening up a few new shops and renaming shopping centre on Thursday – only got it when I asked after seeing 3 people on next till get given free gift and I wasn’t offered it!)
    • Topped up with £5 petrol at BP as there was hardly any left until I got to another cheaper petrol station (got Nectar points)
    • Filled up with another £15 petrol at Tesco at £1.0309?/ltr and got my Tesco points
    • Tesco – DH paid for shopping (inc. the £1 Tesco pizzas - on offer) – I reused bags and got 6 points
    • Received till spit for 25 points when buying TV Times
    • Brought TV Times (which I was going to buy anyway) and used above till spit and also got 4 points for reusing bag
    • Brought D. Express, D, Star and More magazine in WHSMiths (got 2 points on my WH smiths card), used 20p, 25p and 80p coupons off the 2 pages and mag
    • Collected free drink from Holland & Barratt using voucher in D Express
    • Went to Focus and collected my free plant using voucher in D Express
    • Put new plant in existing plant pot which had a dried up dead plant which I hadn’t got round to replacing
    • Made chips with some of the reduced bag of potatoes I got for 30p yesterday
    • Carefully unwrapped DS late birthday present from sister as she brought some nice Thomas the Tank Engine wrapping paper to wrap DS presents (to be reused in future)
    • Found 20p
    • Spotted another 5p later which I got DS to pick up for his piggy bank
    • Got interest updated on DS’s savings account
    • Cut out D Express coupons to put in purse
    • Washing done at 30deg and line dried outside taking advantage of dry weather
    • Did a couple of mutual point clicks through e-mails
    • Will check pigsback later which I very rarely check as it is rubbish now
    • Walked to Farmfoods instead of taking the car

That’s all I can think of
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
    Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)
