Hello Folks. I was wondering if our current account was covered by the government as for those with savings even though it is not a large sum it is all we have. The non saving current account is with the halifax.

Current accounts are treated just like any other deposit as far as the FSCS guarantee is concerned.
Any deposit from an individual (called a retail deposit is).
Deposits by companies, charities and other groups are not covered.
