Query Regarding Job Seekers Allowance

My partner and I have recently come off Income Support and have been put on to Job Seekers Allowance. We have been awarded Job Seekers Allowance from the 24th of September. We have been awarded £131.80 a week. I signed on, on 2nd October 2008. On Wednesday, 8th October 2008, we received our first payment of £169.46. I have calculated this to be an 8 day payment.
Could someone please help me work this out, £169.46 for 8 days can't be right!

£131.80 /7=£18.82 per day, then £169.46/18.82=9 days:DChristopherj wrote: »24th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th of September - 1st & 2nd of October = 8 days.
You've missed 25th out;)"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"
