Snow Patrol's new new single 'Take Back The City' hits stores this week so the band decided to take a leaf out of their own book. In anticipation of the band's forthcoming album, Gary Lightbody and co. are hitting four cities around the UK and Ireland to play surprisingly small shows to celebrate. What's more, they're doing it over two days in a private jet. What's more, they want to take you and a friend along for the ride. Is this the greatest competition ever or what?
Before you lose your minds with excitement, we need to tell you how to be in with a shot of bagging those seat places. It's devilishly simple stuff:
Because we're loving the 'Patrol that much, we'll be spinning their records throughout the day. Each time you hear a new song, you can let us know again. It doesn't take Einstein to work out you could have more than one shot at winning this sucker.
So keep it tuned to Xfm during the week, keep watching the website for the form and keep it all crossed for the big draw on Friday. This is where you could be swinging that AAA pass if you drop this prize of a lifetime:
26 October (Lunch Time) - The Gate Theatre, Dublin
26 October (Evening) - Belfast Empire
27 October (Lunch Time) - Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh
27 October (Evening) - Bloomsbury Ballroom, LondonSee the competition's full terms and conditions here.
The competition is open between the following dates and times: Monday to Thursday (October 13-16), 6am-10pm. Friday (October 17) 6am-3pm.

Before you lose your minds with excitement, we need to tell you how to be in with a shot of bagging those seat places. It's devilishly simple stuff:
- Every time Xfm plays a Snow Patrol song (see applicable times below), you've got a limited period to rush on-line and let us know you've heard it.
- Each time Gary Lightbody's dulcet tones hits the airwaves a special news story will appear on our homepage. You bang in your details, you go into the draw and we tell you who wins on our Friday afternoon show.
