I have somehow managed to remove the toolbar type thing at the top of the Excel worksheet which allows me to click into the cell and edit the typing in the cell. I have tried going through the View, Toolbars way and tried customising it but cannot get it back???
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance all!

You can also remove the formula bar for single worksheets. I use this when I am distributing an Excel file, because it makes it look much neater. If you want to remove it for individual sheets, click Tools, Options, and untick Formula Bar.0

Sorry, I got the setting wrong. You can't remove the formula bar as a whole, instead you can stop formulas appearing in the formula bar when a cell is clicked.
To do so, right-click a cell, Click Properties, then click the Protection tab, then tick the Hidden box. Untick the Locked box. Now, go to Tools, Protection, Protect Sheet, then click OK. Now, when you click a cell, the formula doesn't appear in the formula bar.
You can also do this on all cells in a sheet by highlighting all of the squares, then Right-clicking, Clicking Properties etc.
If you were to tick the Locked box as well (on the Properties page), you will stop the contents of the cell being changed. I found this useful when I recently created a large spreadsheet for someone else who just wanted to enter values. This stopped them accidentally deleting a formula. (Note: Cells are locked by default, so you have to untick the Locked box on all the cells that you want to be able to type in, and leave it ticked on the cells you want protected.)
For both the Locked and Hidden settings to work, you must enable Protection from Tools > Protection as described above. You can also enter a password to stop the protection being removed, but ensure you can remember it.

P.s. Sorry for my original mistake.0
