Concerned about a Fixed Term Deposit with KE

I wonder how many of us want to break the fixed term and getting nowhere

I just called KE. They said there is some delay with the backlog and all of us under the fixed term deals we need to wait. He had no more information to give away and he said neither ING do. I am hopefull that the situation will be normal sometime within this week if not panic!

I have now given up on trying to get money IN to KE, and not tried to insist that my bank do the transfer - as I couldn't get a proper answer from ING, and KE never rung back.
Looks like I'll put it in B&B instead.

I can see people (myself included) getting very anxious and angry if nothing has been resolved till friday.

anyone any news about the fixed rate.

i never tried transferring or ending it lAST week but was just wondering my options now, as i have a large sum tied in with heritable bank til mid next year

yeah im getting annoyed now , i actually need some of the money for my Holiday!!

I put in the request last tuesday to close my fixed term accounts , and was told it would take 24 hours ,then i was told 48 hours , now its been a week:mad:


All i want is my money back!!!! Hopefully before Xmas

I am guessing that fixed deposits are at the bottom of the priority list for Ing. In my case I am fixed until August so I did not expect to see the money again for a while but I am interested to know what happens to those fixes which finish sooner.

I am reasonably happy that Ing will sort it out in time.

If Ing does give us the choice of ending the fix I will do that because I was at the maximum covered in Ing and KE and so am now over the new limit.

I had a fixed term maturing yesterday but it showed with interest over the weekend in my KE savings a/c. I arranged for the interest to leave the account this morning but as yet not only hasn't it left but it's still showing as being in the savings account. I printed off the withdrawal transaction but it seems to have been lost in the ether yet again.
