3 series BMW Service in Sussex

Hi,

Can anyone please recommend a place in Sussex where I can get a quality service for my 318i? I don’t want to go to the main dealers as their charges are simply too high.

Thank you

I don't know of any independents in Sussex - but, have you tried googling for BMW forums?? They would probably be able to recommend someone, plus also advise on the throttle body too - which I doubt would be that expensive nor take long to fit.

  • I have had trouble finding an Independent BMW Service garage in Sussex too. I have booked my service in at E-tech in Havant for an Inspection II in November. They have quoted £340 which is much cheaper than Chandlers.

One of my mates is a machanic in the Havant garage!:D I get all my stuff done on the cheap because of him which just goes to prove it's not what you know it's who you know.

You can afford to buy one - surely you can afford to service it?

I'm up north so can't help, but have a look at this website for some independent reviews.

You could also try searching/asking on the forums here http://www.bmwcarmagazine.com/

I must admit I've only ever used a BMW dealer for mine - most dealers offer a discount if the car if 4 or more years old - if you fall into that bracket, ask them about 4+

edit: just noticed the price at the independent - I paid £330 for my last insp2, so I think there are probably regional variations as well
