                    My mum has been sent a credit card bill for £250 that relates to her deceased husband. This debt is 7 years old as he passed away in 2001.
Can the credit card company still request this debt?

            No the debt is statue barred.... plus i thought they would have had to try and claim it out of his estate when he died? Im not experienced in this but someone will come alone soon and advise you more

            thay can ask for it but you dont have to pay it. 6 years is the cut off point the debt has proberbly been sold on and thay are just trying there luck ignore it.0
