    Hi all.

Just a thought on this one, but can I assume that as a declared bankrupt you can get a credit card from a UK bank at all?

We were notified from one of our credit card issuers (can't remember which one but I'll find out) that they paid interest on a positive balance, so if you prepaid an amount to give a positive balance you would be able to get interest on that and use the card for purchases.

It might have been Saga :-[ that my wife has ;D because they always appear to offer that little bit more, in exchange for a barrage of mail that comes with it. However it may be a bit premature to suggest them, I think Liverpool Victoria do the same.

It depends on whether they will allow you a card in the first place.

Egg money pays 4% interest when in credit and can be used to withdraw cash without charge when in credit. You also receive 1% cashback on purchases

The post office offers a pre payment card
