As an ex Bank Manager of 21 odd years financial service experience I thought that I was fairly financially astute and knew most of the money saving ideas but after signing up to the MSE site I now realise that I had no idea.

I cannot quantify the amount of money Martin's advice has made/saved me and will continue to be a loyal reader of the forums and the site itself.

Please keep up the excellent work and do not be disheartened by a few idiots who don't understand the ethos of the site. The way I see it if you save me as much money as you do and the site gets a few shillings from links I don't see the harm as websites aren't cheap to maintain.

Keep on doing what you do best in saving us all a fortune.
