As per the title I have just over 400gms of Sultanas that seriously need using up before they turn to wine. They expired in August and I just found them but I am allergic to chucking stuff away.
I did a little google but to no avail.
Any of you clever little cooking people got any cool and groovy ideas, preferably biscuit based as I have an aversion to sultanas in cake?
Thank you

Thanks groovy people  I am appreciating the input
But like I said have a serious aversion to sultanas in spongy things. Unless it is like a full on fruit cake (because then it doesn't feel spongy, yes I know it's weird)
Any biccy recipes?*Make every day Caturday*0 -

Scones. Love them...especially when still nicely warm with dripping melting butter all over them. Thouse sultanas wouldn't last longer than 5 minutes over here.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I think the idea would be to add some sultanas into the mix, I often add choc chips, and don't really change the recipe much just add a bit less oats.
If the sultanas are a bit dried up (more than they should be IYKWIM) you could soak them in warm water/tea/fruit juice you get the idea
you can also add them to porridge, or sprinkled on cereal.

Add to rice pudding - scrummy!"there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0
