Hi all
I purchased a digihome box and a £15 indoor aerial booster to use with it, its not loading all the channels and the channels is has picked up cannot be viewed due to weak signal. My housemate has a digibox with internal aerial and hers works fine
Im using automatic tuning. Any ideas how to fix the problem? Thanks Claire

In my experience, amplified indoor aerials are seldom any good for Freeview, even in moderate signal areas. You may also be in a part of the house which is more shielded than your housemate's. And your digihome box may be less sensitive than theirs - they do vary from make to make.
Even if your box has a manual tuning it's unlikely to make any difference.
However, if your aerial booster has a gain control, try reducing the gain if it's on max, as that can distort and therefore degrade the signal.
Failing those, try borrowing your housemate's aerial - if that works, at least you only have to buy one the same as theirs and not another digibox...0 -
Thankyou will try that, so annoying as cant take the digibox back as exempt from money back guarantee
