Every other post about farm shops confirms what?? You were the only one blathering on about farm shops before I started replying, so who's confirming all this? How can you 'rule my theory out' from non-existent confirmations? Some on here think they can do better at their supermarket (which may in some cases be true, after all I have not claimed not to use supermarkets myself) and some think they can do better at smaller outlets, so there has been plenty of debate, but nothing has been 'confirmed'. Even Moggielover's excellent post just above this one doesn't 'confirm' that farms are cheaper, but it certainly suggests some are, which means your prejudices are likewise far from 'confirmed'.

You're fond of quoting bits from people's posts so why not go back and read what I have said about where I buy my milk. It is from local shops that are supplied by local farms, NOT from farm shops! I do buy my meat from a local farm shop, that bit is true, and very cheap and tasty it is too, much better than the supermarket, but your last post asking where these cheap farm shops were was in response to the question of milk. Scroll up and read.
