Off to Calella Palace (Spain) for half term - how much will we spend?

Options
Hi,

Please can you help me. We are going on a cheapie all inclusive holiday for a week at Calella Palace and I am trying to work out how much spending money we will need. Our family consists of 2 adults, 3 children (10, 8 & 18mth) and I was hoping that someone could give me an idea of prices of things. Obviously as it's AI all food and drink is included (providing that it's ediable) so we don't need to worry about that too much but we would like to do a couple of days out as the weather may not be good enough to spend the day by the pool or at the beach. The resort offers a couple of nights out which you only pay for coach travel (roughly 11 euros each) but I would like to know about prices for the following:
Port Adventura
A water park near Calella
Barcelona Stadium Tour
Or any other atrction that you have found that is a good trip out, easy to get to and fairly good value for money.

Is it worth trying to book anything in advance from this end?

Thanks for your help

You have made a good choice for a family holiday. There are lots of well maintained kiddies' playgrounds around which the kids will enjoy and will cost you nothing. Use the railway to go to Barcelona......it's a nice ride as it follows the coast, is easy to understand and is cheap. Visit the Cathedral and the Gaudi apartments for a bit of culture. Entry to to waterworld etc is far cheaper if booked through one of the many agents around......do not buy from the hotel reps.

    have a lovely time

  • Thanks terryw for your quick reply. Starting to get quite excited now!!! It's the first time that we are taking that 18months abroad so want to make it as easy as possible.

We are going to Llorett at half term and staying in the Top group( Casino), i believe that they put free transport to their other hotels in surrounding towns and if you book the day before you can eat in one of the other AI hotels, that is the cheapest way of seeing the area if its right. The train to Barcelona is very cheap.
  • Anyone know the direct telephone for the Calella Palace
