The FSCS are expected to make a further announcement tonight as to how they will be handling IceSave claims. Keep an eye on their website for info. I am waiting with baited breath to see what they have to say as I need my money asap as it is earmarked for a big bill coming up soon.0

ASAP is the thought - my Icesave money is my stoozpot! First card begins to accrue interest at the start of January.0

LOL indeedy. I have a feeling MBNA are gonna start to like me though - certainly not gonna get a bank loan for the sake of a couple of months :beer:0

Transfer from IceSave to Northern Rock sounds logical.0

The only flaw in the plan being 'transfer'. Need to have access to money to do that.0

I am getting worried again that there is a problem repatriating our money.
Why are you worried, the Prime Minister, the Chancellor, the Treasury, the FSCS, the FSA, the BBC uncle Tom Cobberly and all have all stated that we will get all our money back every penny of it, it does not depend on getting it back from those clowns in Iceland, it may take a while but there is not a chance on earth that the UK government can default now.
It is a bit of hassle but we will be paid.
