A fixed rate bond from the Derbyshire fixed at 5.05% until 31/01 07 (14 months) launched today. For deposits of £100. and over

Yes I have that, about 15 months now I think, just waiting for some money to be transferred into my current account so I can open the 12 month bond,I was told over the phone that interest is paid on the bond from day of receipt of cheque, so a couple of days double interest.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
