Childrens tax credit help?

Could anyone please help me, My husband works and i am receiving childrens tax credit. I am now wanting to go to work as my 3 children are now all at school, how many hours or how much affects the amount of benefits? Do you have to work over 16 hours or under? Please help as I want to make sure it will be worth it.
Regards

Working Tax Credit is for people who are employed or self-employed (either on their own or in a partnership), who
    • usually work 16 hours or more a week
    • are paid for that work, and
    • expect to work for at least 4 weeks

    Hope this helps
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?

The job I am going for is only 15 hours a week so wouldnt I be entitled to working tax credit? and would I also loose money off my childrens tax credit?
    Sorry to keep asking.

If your husband is working more than 16 hours WTC should already be included in your tax credit calculation. However your household income can taper that entitlement away to zero leaving you receiving just CTC.

If you ring the TC helpline they'll be able to give you an estimate of what you're likely to recieve
I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!
