Used Electric Hob - Can I Sell it?

I am trying to recoup some of the cost of my new kitchen by selling some of the old appliances on Ebay. The ceramic hob does not seem to have any power cable. Sorry I'm clueless about electrical stuff but assume it should have some means of connecting it up. Can I sell it?

Any electrician installing it would know what cable to use. He would probably fit a new cable as a matter of course. So I would have thought that it was quite saleable.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

im not so sure about used hobs.
i doubt they bring any money at all. as new ones are so cheap these days.
you can try ebay but freecycle sounds favourite to me.

I'd agree that you probably won't get much for it. I know if I was buying something like a hob that uses a *lot* of power, I'd want to know it was electrically safe and covered by the necessary guarantees.
