Network External Hard Disk Drive

Hello

I'm looking a external hard disk drive that I can use by connecting to my router so it can used by my Xbox 360 while my computer is off.

I've found this one below so I'm not sure if it's any good!

The drive itself is fine, just bear in mind a few things (which I found out the hard way when I tried to do the same thing):

1. The xbox 360 ONLY recognises drives formatted with FAT32, not NTFS. If you buy this or any other drive, make sure the drive is formatted to FAT32 before you put any data onto is as the conversion will wipe off everything (FAT32 to NTFS can be no with no data loss)

2. You might (can't remember 100%) need some 3rd party software (not free) which allows the xBox to communicate with a NAS device.

I'd recommend you check some forums before buying.

Seems like a good price. Maplin have a few good ones. You can use a normal external hard drive with the 360 into the USB slot if you didn't know.
