Galaxy FM - Purposeley Rude?

Just started listening to that Galaxy FM radio station again, After years of not bothering.

I kind of get the 'Impression' that their DJ's - Very young DJ's that they are seem to enjoy giving listeners who ring in 'verbal' name calling etc

Was listening about 3 weeks ago to Galaxy FM Yorkshire and one young DJ called a girl listener who had called in for a request a 'Little Tart' all because she got an answer wrong!

Then the other night again a 'very young' sounding DJ replied to a girl caller telling her she was a 'Right Old Slapper'.

The exact wording was:

Right ok then you slapper - go !!!!!! off then

The Galaxy FM DJ's have no room to talk - half of them have not had a hair cut & a shave for months.

And were in nappies last year.

Is Galaxy FM changing to an unfriendly Radio station??

Are their comments Purposeley or just 'mistakes' made by their Young DJ's??

I agree, but i dont care that they swear at people...

its the fact they arent funny and act like !!!!! that really bothers me!

they need to get kicked off the show, they talk so much rubbish its boring, they seem like a brainless bunch

yesterday the dj was talking about how is jeep ran out of diesel at 4am...

I stopped listening about 6 months ago, and switched to REAL radio.
In a morning, doing the school run, the DJ's would be talking about sex, or making references to sexual situations, talking dirty, etc, and i had to keep turning radio off, as my 11 yr old dd was listening to this tripe,
Then, they all fall about laughing at some "in" joke, that listeners don't get.

glad I switched, Galaxy is just awful.

i hate the way they try to be funny but are blatently not. Music aint the best either..bit hit and miss really (hed kandi sessions are good). Got myself a DAB radio and only listen to XFM now

Yeah, I'd say Real Radio over Galaxy. I used to listen to Real Radio when I was up in Yorkshire.
