I've always been really happy with Amazon as a customer, but now I am over the moon!:rotfl:
I had a lot of books to buy for uni, and because the modules I've taken are new this year, there aren't books at the 2nd hand bookshop so I've had to buy them all NEW! And to top it off I bought one off them and was promptly told off my by lecturer because it was an inferior translation and I must have the specific copy she has (well then send the booklist to the union bookshop! [/rant])
So I turned to Amazon, who had all my books fairly cheaply, and gave me a free trial of Amazon Prime for a month, which my brother has previously had. This basically gave me "one day delivery" and no minimum spend for a month - pretty useful considering all the books I'm likely going to have to buy! It aparrently costs £49 year to keep this up, so I'll be cancelling but how flipping useful is that! Especially as I ordered Thursday, got them today, and have to read them all for Wednesday (I admit, there was a panic there!)
So yay :money: Amazon Prime!

It's a great deal.
You can take up the free one month trial, and immediately cancel the auto-upgrade option - whilst continuing your one month trial.

Me and five work colleagues have it and have listed each of us as family members. We got the one month free trial and the 12months membership on top. Only a tenner each and saved that on the first 2 purchases. Might be worth getting 4 Uni mates together for a tenner each for the year membership0

I really like Amazon.
Over on the vent board there' s a woman who mistakenly didn't cancel after her free trial because she didn't realise she'd signed up for one. Amazon sorted it out quickly and efficiently.
Amazon have great prices and delivery even the free one is alwasy quicker than they estimate!
Thumbs up for Amazon.0 -
It is bound to have been mentioned elsewhere on the board but Amazon have reduced their minimum spend for free supersaver price.
It is now ONLY £5.00!!!
How cool is that?
Thanks Amazon!0
