Will see what my lone parent advisor says at my interview on wednesday. I think they give you vouchers for certain shops though?! Anyone had help with the cost of interview/work clothes [advisor discretion fund]?? When I rang up to get an interview for next week she said there should be no problem getting help with the cost of new interview clothes. Jus wonder how it works?!\\ Debt Free April 2008 //\\ Single Mummy to 1 boy - 4 years & 5 months old //\\ Last weeks spend: £139.39 - 2 NSDs //0

I'm not a formal type person & would never ever wear a suit, so I just wore smart black trousers (You know the type, not jeans etc) & black boots with a nice top. Nobody wore a suit, the guys had mostly a shirt & trousers & the girls all pretty much had the black trousers/top. I think to Asda I even wore a black top & fleece jacket to the group assessment. I think as long as you're clean & smart they'll be ok, trainers & jeans a no no, smart trousers/skirt top should be ok!0

You can dress very suitably if you wear black and white.
Why not visit your local Clarks shop and see what the dress code for staff is?or even visit their site (I tried to get you a URL, but my computer is blocking popups, and life it just tooooo short.......)

If you wanted a coat (depending on how cold it is) you could go for an Asda 'credit crunch' coat for £15 (there's a thread): http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1210841somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0
