hmmm welll i get all hot and bothered about feedback... when i send item i always email to say i have left feedback etc. they usually leave feed back when they get their item but not always and sometimes leave feedback long time after they received it. i do have regulars who like the mills and boons books i list so i guess they do remember people.
i guess that the buyers are not as hot on it as we 'professionals' are!
dunno if thats helpful ?Highest Debt £581,000 Nov 08 and now owe nothing! yes really! I have learnt my lesson the hard way!

I send a note with the item saying thanks for the purchase, I hope they like it etc. and how I will leave feedback for them, a good customer, and how I would appreciate the same. I often then send an e-mail one week or more after them again (politely), but I'm sometimes scared that they will take is as 'harassment', so I haven't asked lately for that reason. Tis hard to know which approach to take. Might message last lot in New Year to give them enough time to get over Christmas, and see if that does the trick.
Thanks, mrsmcr!:TPlease call me 'Pickle'

Is there anyway you can change an Ebay ID from Business seller back to Private seller? I have two Business accounts, one I used to sell from and one to buy stuff to resell but don't want to have the one to buy as a Business account anymore and would be handy to be able to sell stuff on it as I have a neg on one account and wanted to leave it until it came off.
I am no longer registered as a Business as wasn't making much and with my debt wasn't able to buy anything new so am having a break for a year or two until DD3 is at Playgroup/Nursery and my debt is gone.
Is there a way to go from business to private seller again or do you need to open a new ebay account ?
Thanks

I'm sure there must be a way to change from business to personal seller again. Have you looked on the Ebay Help A-Z? If its not listed try searching for it...
EDIT
here is is - Change Account Type
https://scgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ChangeRegistrationAccountType&ChangeRegistrationAccountType&guest=1&changeregistrationaccounttype=Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
I updated my account from private to business and back again a year or so ago but can't remember how. Think theres a section somewere about opening a shop and it just updates your account (not much use sorry)
Going to get some listings on turbo lister for the new year. was given some old ww mags so hopefully they'll sell.
Happy listing all0
