Amazon is great at the moment too. I put off learning how to use it for months thinking it looked completed but I am so glad I tried it out because its not difficult, its very quick to list and the sales are pretty good.
I also do it as part of my job and the sales there are fantastic at the moment - toys are selling especially well
There is a great thread about Amazon selling - here it is http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1505085
Has Ebay dried up? I was planning to do some more listings this week as we're running out of time before christmas, but I don't want to waste my time if nothing is sellingNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Funny as a few things i've had on auction for the last xx weeks/months, I've put on BIN and have sold a few of them, two of the things I had up for BIN with Best Offers were bought for the asking price without making offers.
Hopefully Ebay will pick up soon (touch wood).Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Talking about magazines - has anybody sold clippings? My magazines haven't really sold but there's plenty of piccies of people such as Angelina Jolie....and people are selling these....
Can you make much money these days as an eBay shop? I guess you need to find something that you can buy and sell for a good profit...and I have far too much stuff of my own to even consider what things they may be :rotfl:
I made loads on clippings in the past, not much anymore, i searched for clippings under completed listings a couple years ago and mark owen (take that) was selling huge, had a hunt out and found only about 15-20 magazine clippings, put them on ebay and they sold for £97!!!! Best clippings sale ever for such small amount! this was about 4 yrs ago, wasnt much in the mags then!
Wish i could make that now! i have so many mags, just takes forever going through them, end up going in the recycling in the end! lolMake £10 a day Challenge June - £1700 -
I was thinking about when to finish and start eBay again.
Think I might give it another week for toys and childrens clothes and then spend some time between Xmas and New Year getting listings ready and then start again at the end of January (after the unwanted gifts are over) Any better thoughts?
I'm also going to put several items for BINs (mostly rare music videos) but think it is worth a shot - just have to get hubby to plug in old video recorder and get him to watch the lot before listing

I listed two lots of Mini Library children's books on Amazon earlier, don't expect to sell them very quickly though, I have two other items that have been on for ages, do they stay there until they sell or I end them?
Some of the items I looked up on Amazon don't have pictures so not sure if they are the same as I have.
Will have to see what else I can find to go on Amazon as Ebay is so slow. I've sold 2 things before on Amazon but have never been left feedback for either of them.
I have got quite a few BIN's on and a few auctions too.
Just a question for those who sell on Amazon what postage do you use? Do you send normal 1st class or 1st Recorded?Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Popped onto eBay to find that the invoices have been updated
On Amazon, I always post 2nd class and never use recorded. When you send your items you now have to go into your account and confirm that you have posted it and how you have posted it; then you get paid.
And yes they stay on there until sold or you end it - it used to be 60 days or something but they seem to have got rid of that.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -

I am going to try and get as much done today and tomorrow and luckily OH is not working this weekend so he can watch the kids (or hopefully take them round his mums - will have to suggest that) while I get on and try and find more stuff.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
