Buyer has just collected item and paid £160.

Sorting out notes for an essay and preparing for a tutorial tomorrow. Perhaps tomorrow late afternoon, I can figure out what items I am going to list to benefit from on Sunday.

I shall then have to have a break from eBaying whilst I revise for my exam. I was trying to work out if I could continue during the revision process but I know how much is involved in selling your stuff and think it is best that I stop on purpose. So as from next Sunday I shall not be selling until the 13th October and then I shall really hit the ground running as it will be the 'Christmas buyers'; well the organised ones anyway :rotfl:

    Have a good weekend everyone.

I have spent most of the day filling up Turbolister with all those difficult things I have put off selling. You know the things I mean, things that need a lot of explanation or lots of photos, old stuff that is collectable.

I've only managed to do 30 items, but hopefully 'll get some interest on the free listing day tomorrow.

I still haven't even tackled the (drum roll) deep dark cupboard.

  • Just back from todays nct nearly new sale - £78 - their 20% commission = £60 for 20 childrens clothes and books !!

Give it a try - no packing, and no dsr's!!
  • Hi Soolin

That is good going 30 items, I haven't done any new ones yet, we are tidying up today, off upstairs to sort out clothes in a min so will have a root around.

Went to a car boot sale today and got some bargains for my girls, got 2 skirts for 50p, a Dora jumper dress for 50p, a Fifi fleece sleepsuit new from Mothercare for £2, didn't find anything to Ebay though as the clothes I found were in the size I need for my girls but can Ebay them when she's outgrown them.

  • Well done Longhotbath on the NCT sale, I've never been to one before but have heard about them, do you just take your stuff and they sell them for you or do you have to stand there and sell them and give them a percentage?

I got some bargains from the car boot sale today (see message above) so was really pleased. There was a bad accident on the way there we were stuck for nearly 45 minutes to go 2 junctions, one of the cars was so badly mangled the person/people inside couldn't have survived from the looks of it, so sad.
