Poor ginga - definately find a computer expert because even if the laptop won't turn on they can still get all files off of it. It happened to me once too and I gave it to a local company to fix, they couldn't fix it so did not charge me but did give me a disc with all my docs and photos on :)

Going to start some more listings now

Hi Gingababe - what a pain about your laptop, I thought our printer was on it's way out yesterday as when I switched it on it just kept wurring(sp?). Turned it on and off a couple of times today and it worked earlier, haven't tried it since but was glad it did as I had loads of Paypal slips to print off.

Hi Toyah666 - I have 4 boxes of stuff here in my office to get listed, it's mainly children's/baby clothes, Ty Beanies and Punkies, some books, things that I have bought for presents that I have never used and just odds and sods really (probably what you would call Tatt), I've relisted a few things quite a few times but as it's free to list for 99p on a Personal account I'm just relisting them until they sell. My mum gave me some Sugarcraft magazines a few years ago and for the last year I've been putting them on Ebay, only have two of those left now.

I haven't done any Ebay listings today, I did relist quite a few last night, I'm finding that things that end on a Wednesday don't sell so am just having listings finish on a Mon, Tues and Thursday and occasional Sundays.

    Hi guys well done

ginga - sorry to hear about your laptop i would be lost without mine too
mrscmr - you are an ebay quenn - your listing abilites put me to shame

I prefer to have items end on a weekend but i have to say my listings ended on a tuesday to coincide with the end of auctiva and i'm really pleased with results, think i might try a few more listings like that - also hopefully i won't have the excuse of saying i won't list tonight as they'll end on a day where things sell less

Had the slowest woman at the po counter yesterday it took her 25 mins to sort 19 items

According to ebay i listed 61 items - sold 26 and made £161 (excluding postage) got rid of a few relists too really happy with that! Hoping it'll motivate me!

    Next batch here i come......at the weekend...lol

    Hi Inapickle,
Amazon is much easier on the stress levels than ebay. Just be honest in the additional comments, and you shouldnt have any problems.

    Good luck with the decluttering!

    Thanks loads! I think I'll give it a go..:D

Update: CD due to sell - should get a fair percentage of what I paid for it back so I'm happy! :D

The clothes I have listed don't seem to be doing as well. I'm disappointed: barely worn, in great condition, good photos, good quality clothes and reasonable starting prices. What am I doing wrong?! :(

inapickle - if you want to post (or PM me if you don't want everyone to see) one of your listings we could have a look and see if you are actually doing anything wrong. You're probably not, its just dependant on whether the right people look at the right time

Going to do lots of listings ready to upload tonight

I sold quite a few things tonight and total was £75, am awaiting the payments to come in now, luckily OH is off tomorrow and this weekend so I can concentrate on wrapping stuff while he watches the kids.

I've relisted everything that didn't sell tonight so won't do any more tonight but will work my way through my boxes tomorrow and this weekend. We might be going to the seaside on Saturday if the weather is nice so that will be good.

mrscmr - how many listings do you have on now? I have 86 on my Personal account and 43 on my business, had a few offers in on 2 items that I have up for £6.99 with best offers and have offers of £3.00 and £3.50 (not brilliant so am waiting to see if I get any more.
