ok guys I need some advice.... my oh has brought some boxes down from the attic & I have been storing through, I have lots of underwear new with tags & without that doesn't fit, as after my first dd my boobs got bigger.... so I am going to ebay, that is straight forward. but I have also found a box of half started cross stitch, most of them kits, now would you just sell the patterns, or the patterns with the threads. or unpick the little work on the aida & sell & just put it all in the description????
    Thnaks for your help

How bizzare, I just sold some half finished cross stitch kits a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't sure before listing but thought what the hey. They all had watchers and bids very quickly, though didn;t go for a fortune, so I say go for it.

When Live 8 tickets came out and people started selling them on Ebay there was uproar so, to sabbotage sales, people who were against the ticket sales bid millions of pounds so that no sellers would make any money. They then just don't pay for the item. It happened to every single Live 8 ticket listing until Ebay decided to ban their sale.

Not quite sure why people would do this for MJ tickets but thats all I have to compare it with

I can understand that, but I have all the original packaging & receipt & there are plenty of items on there that don't even real....
Any ideas where I can sell it then???
Just a question though how can Tiffany be funny about you selling on an item, I am only selling my old stuff, so that I can buy a new ring......

Thank you Soolin for your help.
    I do appreciate it

Maybe I was just lucky but I didn't get my listing pulled when I sold my Tiffany earrings. I did put in the listing that I had bought them from Tiffany New York (obviously pre DMP days!) and didn't have the receipt. TBH though they didn't go for a massive amount because I guess people assume they will be fake if they are on eBay?

Do you have lots of feedback? I'm just wondering if their criteria is based on how much feedback a person has?

Personally I'm still trying to list my Sanctuary gift set which I keep getting a french error message for.... apparently it's being sorted by eBay technical team.... they've only taken about a week so far...

Hi Ginga, I love the ps....You have dredged up a memory of geography lessons. I think its called 'uplift'. Now, how come I can remember that?!!

I have found a cross stich kit too. Its an (expensive!!) Christmas one - totally unstarted. Should I list it now - or would it do better closer towards Christmas?
I'd love to do it, but in reality I will never be able to justify the time!!

Wow - sign me up, please! I have so much stuff I need to sell on Ebay that it's a disgrace!

I had a phase a few months ago where I sold stuff on Ebay and I earned a bit of cash and managed to get rid of quite a lot of clutter. The only thing is, there is still even more to go!

I do have one question, though: I have some specialist language books which are unlikely to sell on Ebay in a week or ten days. I think Amazon might be a better option, but I've never sold anything on there. I try to be scrupulously honest when selling online, and since I can't put up a pic, I'm a bit scared about how I might not give an accurante enough description and disappoint someone. It's probably an illogivcal fear, but I have a phobia about bad feedback! Has anyone used the Amazon service, and how did they find it? Thanks!
