Hi to all MSEr's and stoozers,

With the recent economic turmoil that we have experienced I just want to create a poll as to where stoozers keep their stooze pots prior to collapse of the ICELANDIC BANKS.

You have not included my favourite place: Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI). I know they are safe because they have some very creative and profitable banking practices in Florida, serving some extremely wealthy clients. And besides that, their founder was a friend of my boss.

I knew that there are other options that worth mentioning but those were the few that i could think of. I have already voted and as a stoozer who constantly chase for the highest interest rate, I am one of the hundreds of depositors now chasing our money with ICESAVE and KE which is very unfortunate a lesson as stoozer I've learned harshly.

Mines offset against my mortgage. It could go bust, of course, but it's a UK bank and I think now unlikely.

    7) None of the above - mine is in FirstSave. However my personal savings (kept separate from my stooze savings) were in Kaupthing Edge, so I chose that.
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

Of course that's one option that I've missed out on the choices as sadly I'm still on 5 yr fixed mortgage due next year hence unable to profit on the best years of my stoozing career. I can only look back;) .

Still, think of all those poor folk out there who aren't making any free stoozing money at all! :D

My stooze pots are in fixed term deposits with ICICI. I've funds elsewhere that can cover them if the worst should happen.

Still, have a look at all the people on tracker mortgages paying silly 7%..
As your deal is 5 year ending next year, I bet you have something more like us 4.6%... I only laughed when NatWest adviser was constantly trying to chat us up to a mortgage with them at the branch - I said 4.6%, can you beat it? She hasn't spoken to me since!:rotfl:

My Stoozed cash is all tied up in property and resale stock ....with the proceeds fro this used to reinvest and pay down bt's ...any overflow sits on my offset ..just waiting for the next investment opp....

Oh, did anyone mention that there is one of the biggest sales ever, going on ....in the property market!

So cant even consider any of the above!

an outstanding result using "traditional stoozing" methods is 10% (in your dreams maybe!)
to get 10% out of prop investment(ROI) takes a 2.5% upwards move in prop price(with current 25% dep) ...this b4 a lot of critical criteria employed such as buying bmv, improvemnts ,rental income etc

My posts are my opinion which is neither right nor wrong.
