I took advantage of an offer from Direct Line for getting a house insurance quote, putting in an offer code and them sending a £5 gift voucher as a 'thankyou'. I was sneaky and did a quote for my old address, knowing that I'm there every day in case it worked and they honoured the offer (it was on the voucher board I think so they would have been swamped).

Anyway, I forgot all about it and went to get Charlie and there was a letter from Direct Line for me a couple of days ago. I just thought it was junk mail from when we were still together and didn't open it, just left it with Ex's post. Normally I just grab anything for me but I've been in such a rush this week I just dumped it on his table.

Went down yesterday, he had opened it and it was the £5 M+S voucher.........d'oh..........Not sure I can really say 'that's mine, I used your address to get myself a free voucher!!'

I did end up with one myself this morning, but £10 free would have been twice as good as £5 free!

I'm on-and-off cos students and doctors and patients keep phoning me. Patients cos they've just got the wrong number and students and doctors cos they can't be bothered to look up information when they know that if they ask me I'll tell them;)

You're allowed to be quiet I suppose, as long as it doesnt last, and you're OK ;)
