Just had my annual review (was supposed to be at 3.30pm but we decided to do it two hours early). Anyway it went really well; my idea to get my colleagues to submit statements and feedback about my performance means that I had very little to do and the feedback was all positive! Biggest thing to discuss was the pregnancy and how it will affect the department and how they can support me during it. They all seem pretty shocked that I plan to work for as long as possible and I'm getting the impression that working up to 37weeks is considered just a bit odd (they are all medics so that might explain the problems) but I've said that 37-40 weeks will be taken as annual leave so in effect I'm having the maximum amount of paid time off with baby afterwards.

It looks like the shopping trip to Doncaster is off tomorrow so I may end up going to meadowhall instead. I've got 6 family christmas presents and one birthday present to buy as well as half a dozen Christmas gifts to buy as well and I want to get this done before Mid-November so I can concentrate on paying off debts and then looking for baby things:eek:

Sarah - I know Ste has moved out but before I forget I wanted to say change all your computer passwords (MSE,MSN, Facebook, Myspace etc) just so that you know they are all fully secure! Enjoy your new-found social life. You deserve it.

Well done CatX - I worked till the day before I had Chloe - albeit unintentionally - I was induced two weeks early due to my SPD!

You lot have gone quiet again. Buck up or I will get another song out:mad:

OMG - Wayne has just had a statement from Welcome Finance (first time in three years) which gives the impression that there's only £1300 to pay off (if we continue to pay monthly we will have paid over £2000 by the end of the loan in November 2009. I've asked him to check with WF if paying £1300 now means the debt is repaid and if so to get an overdraft of £1000 on my current account (just in case though with some juggling we should be ok) and pay off the WF loan and have done with it; this would mean that we're going to be debt free in THREE months:eek:

Keep your fingers crossed that this is the case and we can pay it off and be debt free (just in time for baby).

Sammy - you can't put songs on yet. I'm at work and can't access youtube from work:(
