Neptune Russia

I am hacked off, I have just switched some funds into Neptune Russia, I noticed the index went up this morning by11%, just checked the Neptune fund and it has gone up by about 0.01% i.e. nothing, is this one of those funds that is a day out?

It's not index-linked, it's hard to get exposure to the indexes reported on the news in terms of dodgy emerging markets, even ETFs tend to invest in different indexes. A lot of the 'Russian' companies held will not necessarily be listed in Russia, even though they will trade there.

    This tends to reduce volatility.

After doing your research you should know the company's that this Fund is invested in, and it's investment approach.

Therefore you will know how the Fund should be performing.

You will know that it has only a slight correlation to the RTS Index.
