how to get rid of personal info that google search brings up...

hi guys, please help!!!

i was discharged in july 08 from my bankruptcy, the insolvency website has been updated and my record has been deleted.

But i have just searced my name on google and the first hit is the banruptcy info i.e. name, adress, banruptcy date, and when you click on cache it brings up the old details which has been deleted from the insolvancy website.

I am really worried, collagues etc...may see it. How can i get rid of it.

Many thanks

    oh damn!!!

many thanks for the quick reply.

It seems wrong that the insolvancy website by law have to delete your personal data but that goole can cache that page and keep it open to the world for much longer....

problem is though...the search automatically brings up name and address and that i am a student!!
  • pre-reg i have replied to your thread on the BR board, but to add to that your record of BR is a matter of public record so there is little obligation for any organization to do anything about it.

You could request google remove the entry, they might, but are under no obligation to do so, but its worth a try.

As stated on the BR board google is the least of your problems, and as already stated it will drop of google,s cach after a few months
Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(
