Copy of DLA application

Even after you have been awarded DLA rates can you request a copy of the DLA form you sent off from the DWP?
I realize now it is a good idea to photocopy your form before you send it off but I didn't do that.

You can ask but from my experience(i asked for a copy of the medical report done by the dla doctor) you might not get it. I asked 3 times and they "sent it out" 3 times but i never ever got it.0

depends really on how far back the claim was,and yes you`re right its an excellent idea to keep a copy of anything like this0
