DIY In What Order?

Hi,
Can anyone help with the order of jobs for my hall, stairs and landing. I would be most grateful if you could help.
The area is over 3 levels so is quite big.
1) The walls need a skim as a bit of a mess.
2) The doors, architraves and skirting boards are being replaced.
3) The vestibule wooden frame and door innards, as well as stair stringers are being stripped.
3) The bannister is being replaced.
I did want the wood to be removed first, the plasterer to skim, the stripper to strip and the joiner to do the joinery.
BUT, now the joiner said he should do his part first, then stripper then plasterer.
I am worried all the new and stripped wood, even though I will attempt to cover them, will end up in a right miss with the plaster and create a lot of work for me.
Anyone done a similar job and what was the best order? Thanks a lot.

I would do the woodstripping first. Then the plastering and then the new woodwork.0

(im a plaster
) if ur plaster is good he/she shouldnt make that much of a mess,.. is the chippie wants to go 1st then let him/her (if there not up to some thing*),.. just get 2" masking tape and maskup ur wood work,..
*but i do agree on the order u put it in,.. it is the best way too do it for the customer i.e u (less hassle) and if u want it that way the chippie should give u his/her view of course,.. but its up too the customer how he/she wants it done,.. i think the chippie dosnt want to come back twice 1 too take off the wood then after the plastering putting the new wood in ..sack him/her
