Energy Monitor
Im looking to buy an energy monitor (energy saving monitor??) so use around the house and see where I can save money.
What ones are recommended? Anyone able to advise me which one/sort I should be buying??

If you can wait a week or so, I reckon you should be able to pick up a British-Gas branded OWL wireless monitor very cheaply on ebay. Reason being the daily Mail are in the process of giving away 100,000 of them to their readers (it was a token collect promotion) and, let's be honest, history has shown when a huge giveaway like this occurs laods inevitably end up on ebay. Massive supply of owt on ebay invariably means low prices.
PS No matter which one you get, I doubt you will be disappointed. Be prepared to use the info it gives you to modify your leccy usage and see that consumption plummet...Call me Carmine....

We have a Currentcost - advantage over Owl (I think) is that is stores historical data. Also if you have geeky abilities you can connect it to a computer and upload the data - haven't got that far yet.
