I've lost the thread!

I'm sure I saw something on here about which 'named' manufacturers made which cheaper products but can't find it anywhere - we're looking for a new tv so I was hoping to find out if sony/panasonic etc made them under different brands.

Can anyone help me locate the original thread on this, I've searched but can't find it.

i've lost some threads too, but realised that if you subscribe to them, they go to your email address?

i think this might be in the wrong place but i've lost the site instructions about posting etc. for instance, can anyone tell me what a guided mode is and an enhanced mode? or supply a link that says 'click here'? thanks
