ymcas-whilst linux has become more mainstream,it isnt necessarily for the everyday,plug and go type mass consumer market. In addition,getting Linux working on some lappys can be problematic. I have dual boot here. Windows vista and Ubuntu Linux on a fairly new tosh satellite. I battle for a while to get wireless working.

Linux is a great product if your ready for it. If your not then i suggest you get a windows disk. Have a look on Ebay. You may well find a bargain there
