LTSB to C+G transfers - why so long?

Why does it take 2-3 days to transfer funds from a LTSB account to a C+G account, all part of the same company.

Surely these should be part of the faster payment process.

Any thoughts?

Faster payments only seem to work at the moment from Lloyds to anywhere that accepts them when requested over telephone banking. Sometimes when I have done this they have said that faster payments are not working and I have asked them to try again and it has gone through on the second attempt.

They cannot be done from a branch.

Internet banking no longer brings up the option but sometimes payments are scheduled for the next day then leave by faster payments on that day.

Lloyds are not the only ones having problems at the moment.

It's not just at the moment, it's always taken accounts linked between LTSB and C+G (usually with DD pull and push), to take 3 days to move money, seems crazy to me.
