I know they are now covered by Dutch compensation scheme but is that Approx £70K per account or per customer. Does it work in the same way as the UK double for joint accounts.
Are Kaupthing and ING now one and the same or still treated as two seperate financial institutions.
Per depositor.. so £140K roughly for a joint account.
What I fail to understand is why you don't read this on the ING website like I just did!0 -
Simple question no need to take that tone.0

It is quite clear. Under the Dutch compensation scheme you are covered up to Euro 100,000.
Further, you can exchange upto 25% of any such compensation for crossed warrants which may be traded for a cheery romp with a student babe in Amsterdams RLD and also for der smokin' in der coffee shops.0
