i applied for capped tarriff back in may with eon and got it up and running in july. last week i received a letter from them telling me that my dd would have to go up due to rising costs of energy. when i queried it they said i hadnt applied for a capped tarrif and was on a standard price plan and that unless i could find it in writing there was nothing they could do. with a bit of luck i found it and miraculously straight after that so did the operator. they adjusted it and my account is now in credit but if i didnt keep the letter i would have been shafted. just a warning for anyone lured in by these incompetent clowns
