just called one account to see if they have been preinformed regarding if they are going to reduce the rate as per BOE.

The answer i got was, it was already reduced on 1st of December.

Looks like we are in another round with one account.
  • I predict a 0.5% response effective 1st Jan
  • I think the lowest rate band, if we get this rate cut, will be 4.1%

Yep, we'll hear nothing for weeks then 0.5% cut on Jan 1st.

Keep up the pressure on the live chat and phone. Bombard MP's, media, anyone who'll listen in the meantime.:T

    totally agree.

RBS is looking more like part of the political party game, big headline news
    and little action.

More noise we make, better it will be
  • I agree, I have posted blogs or comments on:

Telegraph Money, Guardian, emailed my MP and Guardian business editor, Independent, Scotsman, The Herald, The FT, Channel 4 news site, BBC.

But we need to all do it, otherwise they will slip under the radar again and RBS One Account will continue to lie and deceive with impunity.I would encourage everyone to raise this with their MP.
The site http://www.writetothem.com/ will let you find and send a message to your MP.

I emailed my MP yesterday about the OA saga. Surprisingly he rang me this morning for more detail, I sent him the thread for this forum.
I used the http://www.writetothem.com/ site as suggested by someone on this thread earlier.
