Help needed on saving an Icesave bank statement please!

About a month ago I opened an account with Icesave (who feels a silly billy now?).
Martin's current advice is to get a print out of my on-line statement immediately, however, I don't have access to a printer at the moment.
I'm trying to save a screen shot, (using "Paint") but each of the save options I've tried (including JPEG, PNG, Giff, Tiff and various bit map types) read as "hieroglyphics".
Can anyone help on how to save a readable copy please?
Thanks.

How are you trying to open these saved files? What happens when you double click on say icesave.jpg or whatever you have named it? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Hi Red,
If you use the keyboard shortcut CTRL-PrintScrn to capture the screen, you can usually paste that straight into a Word document using CTRL-V, I find. You can then just save the Word document as normal. I use this for capturing application error messages in my job when I don't have my screen capture tools available...
Never underestimate the power of the techno-geek...

Thanks for your replies.
espresso - In the "my pictures" list, the icon is of a Word doc, instead of a photo of the document, and whatever I save it as, when I try to open it, it appears as computer gobbledygook. Then a dialogue box pops up that offers file conversion (to Windows default, MS-DOS, other) but the drop down box options are in grey [not available].
As I'm in a rush to go out (and I need to turn off my pc) I think I'll just go with Jesthar's option, as it's quick (thanks Jesthar - it worked a treat. It's quite small, but at least I managed to save it).
Thanks again, guys!

Install Irfanview here and it will sort out your image file associations and display just about any format correctly. Storing images in Word files is not the best way to do it. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Thanks espresso, that's great advice - and just what I need! :T0

I've just downloaded Irfanview using espresso's link (via cnet).
It installed quickly and easily and I've now saved the required info!

When viewing the statement online there is a button to save it as a .csv file. This is then viewable in any spreadsheet app(Excel).0

also in vista you have the snipping tool for screengrabs and partial screengrabs0
