parking ticket cancellation?

A ticket I received does not list the colour, it just says 'Other'.

Is this ticket legal? I understnad that a wrongly or not fully filled in ticket can be appealed against.

    Who is the ticket from?

    If it's from a private company, it's irrelevant because the ticket's not real anyway.

    If it's from the council, it's irrelevant, but there may be some proper mistakes that DO invalidate the penalty.

    The parking forum on www.pepipoo.com is your best bet for some useful advice.

    Minor mistakes on a parking ticket do not invalidate it (miss-spellings, etc.) Not sure about the colour, though.
    I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
